@VLADIMIR PUTIN

UKRAINE OWES YOU ONE FOR YOUR CHERNOBYL BLAST !!! AND WHATEVER YOU WILL LAUNCH, WILL BE MORE THAN PRO QUO DUE TO YOUR ENORMOUS TERITORIAL SIZE WHEN COMPARED TO UKRAINE.

Moreover, it contains additional major threat – after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986, radionuclides washed away by rains badly contaminated the bottom silt of the reservoir. During the years following the disaster, there were suggestions to drain the reservoir because it was too shallow.

ONE FOR CHERNOBYL

As a result of the Chernobyl disaster, the Soviet Union created an exclusion zone with a radius of about 18.6 miles (30 km) centered on the nuclear power plant, covering 1,017 square miles (2,634 square km) around the plant. About 3 km away from the reactor, in the new city, Pripyat, there were 49,000 inhabitants. The old town of Chornobyl, which had a population of 12,500, is about 15 km to the southeast of the complex. Within a 30 km radius of the power plant, the total population was between 115,000 and 135,000 at the time of the accident.
