Yes it is: Morawiecki realizing energy almost as important as military security: Polish PM

But, you can't have one without the other is teh most important detail. Russians will not allow and others won't either. Related to https://ausertimes.blogspot.com/2018/11/polands-armed-forces-have-suffered-from.html
I realize that for numerous this are unpleasant(heavy) subjects to discuss, but for nation's survival they are a must. Poland can and must...Poland owes to itself due to history which must not repeat. Ukraine and others in region must either follow or be swollen by evill from the past.

These are big and ambitios words which i am very very pleased to hear Mr. Morawiecki...

Energy almost as important as military security: Polish PM

29.01.2019 15:11

Energy security is almost as important as military security, Poland's prime minister said on Tuesday as the government adopted a bill on strategic oil sector projects.

Mateusz Morawiecki said the bill would enable investment in pipelines.

State news agency PAP reported that the planned change in the law aimed to facilitate projects such as constructing a crude oil pipeline between the northern Baltic port of Gdańsk and Płock in central Poland.

Morawiecki said: “Energy security is extremely important today, it is almost as important as military security. That’s why we must put a lot of emphasis on new solutions.”

Morawiecki’s government wants to reduce the country’s energy dependence on Russia.

A long-term gas supply contract between Poland and Russia is set to expire at the end of 2022, after which the country wants to maximise exploitation of its north-western Świnoujście Liquefied Natural Gas terminal, as well as using its own resources and importing gas via the Baltic Pipe link.

Polish gas grid operator Gaz-System and Danish firm Energinet in November formally decided to go ahead with plans to build a pipeline linking Poland with Norway via Denmark, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Polish state-run gas company PGNiG in October said it had finalised an unprecedented long-term deal for the purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States.
