According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, “She can’t stay in Arizona forever. Her kids and her life are in New York City.”
The insider added that returning home is something Nancy would have encouraged, as she is her daughter’s “biggest cheerleader.”
NBC is also reportedly paving the way for her return to Studio 1A at Rockefeller Center.
Feldman recently stopped by to thank staff personally for their support before rejoining his wife in Tucson.
Still, the decision comes with a sobering realization. “The family is coming to terms with the fact that this might take years,” a source revealed, noting that Savannah is “craving normalcy.”

The sheriff’s department has pushed back against speculation regarding the surveillance images, stating there is “no date or time stamp associated with these images” and that claims they were taken on different days are “purely speculative.”

On Friday, February 27, Savannah shared a recent Today report about her mother’s case via Instagram, in which NBC News’ Liz Kreutz shared how the process of submitting an anonymous tip works. “Please – be the one that brings her home,” she wrote alongside the clip, along with sharing the official tip line number (1-800-225-5324). “Tips can be anonymous, reward can be paid in cash, as explained here.”
Savannah also mentioned how her family is offering a “reward of up to $1 million” for information about Nancy’s whereabouts.
Kreutz shared information about anonymous tips on the Thursday, February 26, episode of Today. “Let’s say that you submit a tip, it qualifies for the reward, you want to remain anonymous. You can then pick up that reward at a neutral location that’s decided, often a place like a post office,” she explained. “That reward will likely be given to you in cash, and all you have to do is show that unique PIN number that’s associated with your tip. You do not need to show your ID. Experts say it is really not traceable and no questions asked.”
Also on Friday, Savannah shared a clip from the Instagram plea video she released on Tuesday, February 24, informing the public about her family’s $1 million reward offer. “Someone knows how to find our mom and bring her home. Call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) — you can remain anonymous — or find a way to reach out to me,” she captioned the upload.
In her Tuesday Instagram video, Savannah thanked the public for their support and prayers as the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance continues. Nancy Guthrie Update Today: Officials Make Announcement
On Thursday, Feb. 26, the exploration into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie continued, and now, officials have made an announcement regarding the search to find her.
Nancy Guthrie, the mother of "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie, went missing from her Tucson, Arizona, home on Feb. 1. Experts and officials believe she was taken against her will.
On Thursday, the Arizona Republic reported that Pima County officials have announced a temporary no-parking zone around Nancy Guthrie's home, in an effort to keep the public safe.
According to the report, that means vehicles belonging to news media and live streamers who have camped out in front of Nancy Guthrie's house for weeks have to be cleared from the road by Feb. 26, "after Pima County officials decided to temporarily prohibit street parking for several blocks in every direction around the missing 84-year-old woman's home."
Officials Implement New Rule Outside of Nancy Guthrie's Home, Starting on Thursday, Feb. 26
In an official release from Pima County administrator Jan Leshe, dated Wednesday, Feb. 25, Leshe stated that the large media and public presence outside Nancy Guthrie's home has become a public safety issue. At first, officials began restricting a nearby road to one-way traffic to solve the issue, but that hasn't helped.
In the release, Leshe states, "Neighbors have continued to complain bitterly as they contend with continued clogged roads, trespassing, noise and accumulating trash along the road."
Officials, according to the report, will install "No Parking" signs in the neighborhood, and people who disobey will face a $250 fine. The no-parking zone also impacts local and national reporters, who won't be allowed to park along the street in front of Nancy Guthrie's home. But, reporters, streamers and the public are still allowed to walk on the street in front of her home.
