Ukrainian cities A L R E A D Y completely destroyed by the russian army - WITHOUT NUKES BURNED TO THE GROUND
Ukrainian cities completely destroyed by the russian army

Today the true face of the "russian peace" is very clear. In more than a year of war, the rf army has inflicted many mutilations on our country. Find out more about which cities the occupiers have mercilessly wiped off the face of the Еarth

The full-scale war in Ukraine is one of the most brutal in recent decades. The last time Europe saw such destruction was in the 1990s, when fighting broke out in Yugoslavia. Despite the absurdity of war in the 21st century, russian troops continue to target civilians and commit war crimes. In this article, we will tell you about the Ukrainian cities that the russian army has destroyed since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022.

According to estimates, as of the beginning of 2023, the russian army has launched about 5,000 missiles and 3,500 air strikes against Ukraine. The invaders launched almost 1000 more strikes using kamikaze drones. These figures do not include shelling from artillery and multiple launch rocket systems.

According to preliminary estimates by the Ukrainian authorities, more than 350,000 facilities and millions of square meters of residential, educational, medical, and sports infrastructure have been destroyed in the country, and thousands of kilometers of roads and railways, airports, ports, and much more have been damaged.

During the russian attacks, missiles and shells fall in densely populated cities and villages where civilians still live. However, there are settlements in Ukraine that could not survive the attacks of the russian occupiers.

Which cities in Ukraine were completely destroyed by the russians?

Mariupol (Donetsk region) is a city that has been under fire since the very first days of the war. A few days after russia's invasion of Ukraine, enemy troops began a blockade of the city. The occupiers bombed the town with all the weapons they had at their disposal.

One of the most horrific moments of the war was the bloody bombing of the Mariupol Drama Theater, where people were hiding from the shelling. According to various sources, between 300 and 600 civilians, including children, were killed.

Sievierodonetsk (Luhansk region) - the fighting for the city lasted for two months. Although the settlement was not of strategic importance, russians chaotically attacked the city.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, the city was destroyed by 90% as a result of massive bombardment by the russian army.

"When we release Sievierodonetsk and Rubizhne, we will be horrified. What we will see if we enter the cities will break our hearts once again, because it is worse than Pripyat... there is no life there at all," said Serhiy Gaidai, former head of the Luhansk regional military administration.

Maryinka (Donetsk region) - Destroyed houses and shell craters are all that remains of Maryinka, a town east of Donetsk. The small town has survived fierce attacks by russian forces, who are still trying to take control of the Ukrainian Donbas.

Before the war, almost 10,000 people lived in Marinka, but now the town is devastated. Marinka has survived ruthless artillery duels, after which it looked like a set for an apocalypse movie.

The occupation forces deliberately destroyed houses to prevent them from being used as shelters.

Bakhmut (Donetsk region) is a town that russian troops have been storming for almost 10 months. Attacks on the small town continue daily.

Due to the ongoing fighting, rows of apartment buildings, schools, shops and other infrastructure have been reduced to smoldering ruins. Parts of the city that were surrounded by trees and parks a year ago are now completely devoid of all vegetation and covered with brown dust and debris.

Bakhmut has faced an environmental disaster due to the actions of the russian army, which fires hundreds of shells at the city every day.

We have shown only a part of the cities that were destroyed due to russia's full-scale aggression. In fact, there are many more destroyed settlements. Cities such as Rubizhne, Popasna, Volnovakha, Lyman and Izium have also suffered greatly at the hands of the occupiers.

We should not forget that the russian army continues its aggression against Ukraine. Rocket and air strikes have not become rare, but rather continue to cause more and more harm to Ukrainians.
