Elon Musk who determined wasn't strong enough for diesel and gasoline engine manufacturing, figured out by the time above stated becomes recognized will already pile enough wealth to open car factories with engines powered by diesel/gasoline competitive enough to other can manufacturers.
Can you imagine today's world if electricity was all the sudden nuked out of existence !!???? Where and how would you guys charge/power your precious electric cars !!???? Electric cars are okay, but to what degree and how many !!???? Its weird no one considered in today's age other clean energy solutions such as ethanol.
Electric engines are extremely primitive when compared to gasoline/diesel and were by far the easiest and the most competitive way for car manufacturers to get in at least at the beginning - off course those too became somewhat competitive - only somewhat when compared to diesel and gasoline and are extremely easy to copy. I mentioned Mary Barra because she was involved in my case since childhood.
ELECTRICITY POWERED CARS ARE AWESOME WAY TO HELP SAVE ENVIRONMENT, BUT THEIR PRESENCE ON THE MARKET SHOULD BE DIVERSIFIED AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ENFORCED THROUGH INSANE SELF SABOTAGING LAWS. SCIENTISTS SHOULD HAVE THEIR SAY IN IT RATHER THAN POLITICIANS. ITS NOT NUKES THAT CAN KNOCK OUT ELECTRICITY ONLY - ITS ALSO SPACE DEBREE/ASTEROIDS AND/OR OTHER NATURAL PHENOMENA. GREAT YES, BUT ONLY TO CERTAIN PROCENTAGE WISE. BEST ARE HYBRIDS, BUT WILLING TO MANUFACTURE FOR DECENT COSTS..
